  3. THE LITTLE HOUSE IN THE ENCHANTED FOREST

It has been almost 2 years since the last time we've been there, in the Little House in the Enchanted Forest.
Taking advantage of a little break in the bad weather that had welcomed us from our vacation, we decided to combine business with leisure: visiting Grandma who spent there the summer and enjoying a nice weekend away (putting to good use again those bags still stationed in different points of the house, those that when you pass by, without any doubt you'll lose a pinkie from) before the temperature will turn too cold to enjoy walking.
I only had to substitute the bunch of bathing suits/covers/tank-tops/flip flops with track suits/sweats/thick socks/pile hats, feed the beasts, slip their pj's on, waiting for Velcro Dad to come home from work, load everything up, and take off to the "hermitage".
At the last bend, the little ones, who had collapsed asleep 3 hours earlier when we were still on our street, unexpectedly woke up, and excited by the novelty kept us up until the wee hours... we were so happy we had decided to leave very late in order to beat the traffic!! :-)

We get the sense of the time that has passed from the Little Hooligan, who doesn't remember the place at all, but who luckily fell in love, just like Nina, with this wild and completely remote corner of the world, where you can't hear any noises except those made by boars, deers and squirrels.

Well, after the vacation, another small break from our glowing routine... let's hope it becomes and addiction! :-)
